Boxer Puppy Problems?

My friend has a 5 month old boxer puppy. Chews on everything. Super stubborn. She is so bad. I know this is all normal puppy behavior and it is not preventable sometimes. She also has a 4 year old boxer, which is the puppys father and the father is allergic to rawhides. I keep telling her to give the puppy rawhides but, it is like she almost refuses. I just want to help her with her problematic dog so her life it easier.
