Does dry-rot continue to spread through wood surfaces after the dry-rot source has been found & eliminated?

You need to replace where it is dry rotted. The area of floor that is rotted or has water damage underneath. If you let it go it could become more expensive to repair. Do it right the first time. Replace the flooring.
