Are preachers today any different than the priests that Jesus encountered?

Yes, but true believers trust god and believe that the money is given for the good, and whoever hands it falls in and they dont do god's will with it, and use means of manipulation and flipping scriptures to get it then it is them that is at fault not the givers.
