Why is there evil, if there is an all powerful "God"?

there is no evil, there is just what works, and what doesn't depending on where you want to go...if you want to go to Mexico, and you are in the midwest, you go south, if you go north, it will not bring you where you want to go. God did not kill all these people, jehovah claims the glory for that, he was far from being god, although he told the people when they asked him who he was, he said I told them I was god almighty, but (actually) my name is Jehovah...nothing more than some alien being, most likely.
